Going through life’s daily challenges is hard enough for anyone. Getting through a potentially relationship ending situation is never easy for any couple. After our sessions with Dave we both believe that we are on the correct path (with his continued help) to not only keeping our 25+ year relationship intact, but can actually see ourselves making our relationship stronger, closer, and more meaningful as we navigate the rest that life has to throw at us together.

The “old” me – before seeking Dave’s coaching: I was the cheater (repeat offender). I took no responsibility for my own actions. I blamed others….nothing was ever my fault. I lived a lie. I lacked integrity. I did not like the man I was. The “new” me – after several months of working with Dave: I learned to take responsibility for my cheating. I now understand that my infidelity was not my wife’s fault…it was mine. I made the choice to be unfaithful, and I must be accountable for that. I have learned that every action has consequences. I shared with my wife the honest truth…all of it. I have learned that I had a lot of maturing to do. I have learned strategies and techniques to be a better communicator. I have learned that forgiveness and trust must be earned. I am a better husband. I am a better human being. I am learning to like myself again.

We’ve never actually had a better relationship. Believe me it has been a ride… A roller coaster of emotions, situations, and issues, but one by one we’ve tackled them with Dave’s help. Dave truly has an ability for bringing sanity, guiding and helping that I hadn’t found elsewhere. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you Dave Worthen!
